Ruby Raye Nichols

The family will be accepting friends for visitation Wednesday, September 18, 2013, from the hours of 6 - 8 p.m. at Big Hammock Baptist Church in Hineston, LA.

Ruby was born December 24, 1927 in Hicks, LA. She was called to her Heavenly home September 16, 2013. Ruby was of the Baptist faith. She loved animals and loved to race horses. Ruby loved her family and was a wonderful mother. Ruby was an assistant Post Mistress in Leander, LA for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Gethren Herman Nichols; Parents: Raliegh Hagan and Emily Jeter Hagan; Sister: Ebbie; brothers: Junior Hagan and James Austin. Left to cherish her memories is daughters; Barbara Richey and husband, Charles, of Hineston, LA and Lisa Nowlin and husband, Doug, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; grandchildren: Scottie and Jennifer and great-grandchildren: Regan, Dylan and Austin.
