Vonda S. Mashburn

Funeral services for Vonda S. Mashburn age 81, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Simpson Baptist Church with Brother Gerald Smith and Rev. Ben Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Mrs. Mashburn, a mom who loved her kids, grandkids, and her beloved pets passed away on Friday January 13, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on September 20, 1930 in Lonsdale, Arkansas the daughter of the late George W. and Mittie Crabb Stiles.

Vonda is survived by her daughter Linda Martin and husband Anthony of Many,La.; son James O. Mashburn Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amber Menard and husband Billy; James Mashburn III; Tandi Pollock and Husband Ben; Larry “Scooter” Cooley and Wife Sarah; Candice Martin; April Martin; J.J.Lowrance; Brent Lowrance and wife Vonda; great grandchildren Katelynn Keller; Hunter Menard, Zackary Pollock, Cayle Mashburn, Marlee Cooley, Samuel Lowrance, Jeremy Lowrance ,and Jayden Lowrance.

She was preceded in death by her husband James O. Mashburn , Sr. ; son John E. Lowrance; granddaughter; Shelly Lowrance;sisters Naomi Turner, Velma Turner, Grace Martin, Donna Zuvela, Otholeene Stiles, Myrtle Stiles, Leatha French Speer; brothers Vilous Stiles, Winfred Stiles, and Elmer Stiles.

Pallbearers to serve are James Mashburn III, Larry Cooley Jr., Tray Smith, Adam Coffman, Charles Kay, Norwyn Johnson and Charles Waters.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 15, 2012 at Simpson Baptist Church from 4:00 PM until 9:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
