Yung Sook Adams

Funeral services for Yung Sook Adams will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, LA. Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, LA. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memorial Park, Denton, TX.

Yung Sook Adams passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born July 6, 1936 in Seoul, Korea.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawson Orville Adams, Jr.; daughter, Christine Adams Maiava; her Father and Mother; two brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are four sons, Lawson Adams, III and wife, Donna, of Denton, TX., William Adams of Leesville, LA., Joseph Adams and wife, Monica, of Italy, Bobby Adams and wife, Melissa, of Leesville, LA; six grandchildren; a very close cousin, Dong Jim Soh of Seoul, Korea; niece, Bong Hee Adams and husband, Joseph, of Fairborn, OH.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or The Breast Cancer Research Foundation 60 East 56th Street, 8th floor, New York, NY 10022 in honor of Mrs. Yung Sook Adams.
