I met Eric in Germany in the early 1980’s. Eric was great at his job in the USAF and excelled at whatever he did because of his can-do attitude. He was multi-talented , creative, compassionate, and one of those really great, friendly, well rounded individuals that I was VERY PROUD to call a friend! Eric could do anything from laying tile and linoleum in our apt, hooking up and creating a hose for our dryer, to cooking and doing a Christmas needlepoint for me that I will always treasure!! He could have been a star on HGTV with all of his many talents as a handyman, renovator, decorator and party planning skills!! There was nothing that he could not do. He was always positive, fun loving , honest, and generous. We enjoyed many Holiday Open Houses together where he helped me make the food every year. I like to think that his love of everything Christmas came partly from me. Oh how he LOVED our annual Christmas Open House! And, over all these years, Eric kept in touch and sent me and my husband a Christmas card every year. My heart goes out to Eric’s family and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. And to you Mrs Warren especially, as no mother should have to endure losing one of their children. I hope that he is with our daughter in heaven and that they will enjoy Christmas together with your husband. I remember meeting the two of you when you came over to Ramstein AB on a hop. You raised a wonderful son who was a very kind, gentle, outstanding, empathetic person. May he Rest In Peace and be fondly remembered by all who knew him. I am so blessed to have had him in my life. Sincerely, Dale Schmitzer, Sierra Vista, Az. 💔

Eric was a loving kind man who enriched my life with his love and friendship. We spent many wonderful years together living in Europe. We had five cats together Pinky, Percy, Titania, Tiffany and Adjani. Threw many great Christmas parties and basically lived an idyllic life all those years ago. He is always with me in those wonderful memories. I wish him all the peace he richly deserved. I’m sure his Dad was there to greet him as he passed. All my love to the family in this time of grief and sadness, remember the wonderful times there were a lot of them.
