Herman Liddle

He was born February 22, 1923 in Worth, WV to John and Thelma Harman Liddle.

He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army Air Corps. He retired from the mining industry as a supervisor after 27 years of service, having been employed by Arkwright, Blacksville, and Humphrey Coal Mines. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2602 of Lehigh Acres, Fl; Admiral Lehigh Golf Resort.

He is survived by 4 sons: Gerald of Lehigh Acres, Allan, William and Steven all of Morgantown. 1 sister: Elizabeth Watson of Tazwell, VA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Ida Marie Liddle on July 29, 1995; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be held in West Virginia. Hodges-Farley Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
