OBITUARY

Timothy Michael Davey

November 24, 1965February 21, 2018

Timothy Michael Davey passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 21,, 2018. He was born in Bethel, Connecticut to John and Ruthann Davey. Tim graduated from high school there and was third in his graduating class, captain of the wrestling team and was a member of several other sports. Fitness remained very important throughout his life, his daily workouts before he went to work were exhausting to watch. Also, his interest and knowledge of sports and loyalty to his professional teams were important. He built houses in Colorado and met his wife Sherri Ann (Cepeck) Hagen. They moved to Florida where he started Davey Lawn Care.

Through his work ethic and stamina, he developed that into Davey Lawn Care and Tree Service. Among family and friends, he was known for his big heart, love, generosity, humor, common sense and intelligence. He took his step son, Matthew Hagen and treated him as his own, that was such a joy to watch. Tim loved his Harley Davidsons and the freedom of riding them. He camped, had a get-away home, kayaked, golfed, had a pontoon boat and loved the water. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Sherri; step son, Matt; brothers, John, Charlie and Pat (Lynn). He had a large family of in laws including dad and step mom, brothers, sisters, their spouses and children and grandchildren as well as a multitude of friends. Tim has left a large hole in so many lives and will be missed.

We will gather at his and Sherri’s home to celebrate the fun times and good memories Sunday, February 25, 2018 starting at 2pm. Info 239-369-2181.

Just received an email about Tim. What shocking news! We are so sorry for your loss. We have only known him for the last five years, but we considered Tim a friend. Tim was one of the nicest persons that we encountered when we first moved to Florida. He has done such a great job for us on our lawn and yard. We will really miss him.

Tim was my lawn guy but truly more than that. He always smiled and was willing to help in anyway he could. My heart goes out to his family.
