Clare definitely saw her life as a journey and she left everyone she met know that the motivating energy on the journey is love! She never held back from giving herself to others. We feel blessed and honored to have met her along the way.

You  will be missed...you made every person you met feel welcome with your "hi kiddo, how's it goin'?" and a big hug.  I remember our conversation about letting our hair turn gray...you were my model in many things.  Rest easy in the arms of our Lord, you earned it.

Always there with her Stan at the Church giving of her time wherever needed. And she did it all with that wonderful smile. May God grant you a speedy journey home.

When our family first started attending St. John of the Cross about 18 years ago, Clare was one of the first people I remember meeting. She greeted and treated everyone as if they were a long time friend, even if they had just met for the first time. Our parish family won't be the same without you Kiddo but know you are at peace.

I'm a member of Clare and Stan's church (St. John of the Cross) here in Lemon Grove, CA

Clare was a true "Earth Angel" to our faith community in every sense of the word..We'd meet eachother with a hug and a kiss at every church Mass that would melt my personal worries away for the entire week.

Clare and Stan were one of the most gracious couples in our parish, and her love and nurturing will be sorely missed...But, the thing about "Earth Angels" is that no matter the pain that we feel by their homegoing to Christ, they're always in our hearts.

Rest in Peace Clare, and contine to watch over us as you had been when you were with us here on earth.

Dear Stas and Family,
Pete and I wish to extend to all of you our deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and mother.
God gave her a cross to carry and she carried it never letting on to the family exactly what she was feeling.  I know Stas, that whenever I called and asked about Clare, you never let on how sick she really was, you always said that she was fine and doing  well. 
I know that she is in a better place with God and looking down on all of us and letting us know, in her own way, that she is happy.
Stas, you did so much for her.  Clare was and will always be your TRUE LOVE.
