Evelyn Jane Webb

Evelyn passed away peacefully on Friday December 2, 2016 at the Villa Bonita Senior Living Community, in Chula Vista, California. She was born on April 25, 1930 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and was the daughter of Charles and Nellie Gavin. She spent most of her life, after the age of 19, in San Diego, California where she worked beside her husband, Ray Webb, at Webb’s TV of Point Loma. Evelyn was preceded in death by her second son, Michael J. Webb.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, four remaining children, Chuck, Pamela, Steve and Bob, seventeen grandchildren and thirty seven great grandchildren, and her two brothers, Billy and Jimmy Gavin of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother, aka “Mumsie”. She will be missed by all.

Evelyn will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery ~ 5795 Nobel Drive - San Diego, CA 92112 on Friday, December 16th at 9:00 a.m. There will also be a memorial service held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 17th, The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints - 4741 Mt. Abernathy, San Diego, CA 92117. All friends and family are welcome to join us at the cemetery and/or at the memorial service.
