John Johnson was born in San Diego, California to his parents Raymond and Micheline Johnson. John and his wife Kathleen Johnson were married for 13 years. They have two Children and two Grandchildren. John died in his home from health complications.
John touched many lives in his 57 years on this earth. He was a Mt. Miguel Alumni. John had a strong work ethic. He worked as a Machinist and in Production for Rohr/Goodrich/UTC Aerospace/Collins Aerospace in Chula Vista, CA. for 40 years. John had an associate degree in Physical Therapy and did some massage therapy. John was a great man with a warm heart. He loved God, his family, and friends. He was a very independent thinker and would love to have in depth conversation regardless of the topic. His openness and kind heartedness was reflected in so many kind jesters and selfless acts of kindness to people and friends from all walks of life, perhaps that why so many called him their friend. John volunteered in his community from Blood Drives to his time devoted to the clean- up of Web Veteran’s Park. John loved animals and had many pets over the years. John was an S.D. Charger and Padre Fan; he enjoyed playing cards and singing. So many have had the privilege to hear him sing know he had an amazing singing voice. Perhaps you caught his performance in the Living Christmas Tree or maybe at Karaoke night, at work, or at a social gathering. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his wife Kathleen Johnson of San Diego; his daughter Jennifer Agriesti of San Diego, Son Kevan Giles and daughter-in law Breanna Giles of Bakersfield, CA and his Grandson Michael Giles and Granddaughter Olivia Giles; his 4 brothers ~ Ronald and wife Linda Johnson of Tullahoma, TN; Michael Johnson of San Diego, CA; Steven and wife Leah Johnson of Chula Vista, CA; Raymond A. Johnson of Lemon Grove, CA; and sister Debra Johnson of Spring Valley, CA; Father and Mother -in-laws John and Rosemarie Agriesti, Sister- in-law Michelle and husband Richard Grinsdale; sister- in-law Lisa and husband Marco Tumbiolo; sister- in-law Nancy Agriesti of San Diego , Uncles, many Aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends he considered family.
John was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Micheline Johnson, and many other family and friends who he has undoubtedly reunited with in Heaven.
In lieu of flowers or gifts donations to the family to help with funeral cost would be greatly appreciated.
