John Randall Stewart

John R. Stewart died peacefully at Grossmont Hospital with his wife Nati at his side. He was 54 years old. John was born in Paris, Illinois to Harry Raymond Stewart and Kay Ann (Rhode) Stewart. He served 20 years in the Navy and settled in Spring Valley, California. John was the second child of Raymond and Kay a happy child who enjoyed playing in the woods in Illinois with his siblings Jeff, Mike, Jamie and was very thrill to have a baby sister Lori whom he loved very much. He liked spending time with his grandma Audrey and drinking coke with peanuts inside. He enjoyed family gatherings with dad, mom, aunt Norma, aunt Nancy, brothers and his sister. He also enjoyed going to Mexicali, Mexico and spending time with Nati's family. John loved carne asada burritos that was a good thing about California, but he always also enjoyed visiting his family in Illinois and remembering those times when he was a child playing in the woods and trees of his beloved Illinois.

John will be remembered for his zest for life, his sense of humor, his kindness and love of others. He will be survived by his wife Natividad, his step-son Evan, Fernando, daughter in law Melissa, Step-daughter Julieta, step-grandchildren Bedcy, Emily, and step-son in law Ruben.

Memorial Service will be on May 15th at Sweetwater Springs in Spring Valley The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 9-10am viewing 10-11am Church ceremony and 1pm Miramar National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
