Maria Flores Gutierrez

Maria Flores Gutierrez died on November 17, 2017 at the age of 90 in her home in Lemon Grove, CA. She was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She was widowed in 1980 when her husband Tony Sr. passed away. She leaves behind their 4 adult children: Tony (62), David (60), Julie (55), and Teresa (54); also, daughter-in-law Diana (married to David) and son-in-law Larry (married to Julie). She had 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Both of her parents are deceased. She had 5 sisters, 1 of which is deceased, 3 live in Guadalajara, Mexico and 1 in Fresno, CA.

Maria was a housewife and mother for most of her life. She took pride in her home and children. She enjoyed taking care of her home and loved spending time with her family and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maria was a devout Catholic and attended St. John of the Cross. She prayed daily to our heavenly father.

Maria will be greatly missed by her family, but she will live forever in their hearts and through their memories. Per God’s plan, she has truly become an angel who is watching over her family from heaven above.
