Marie Evans was born the daughter of Gieseppe and Madeline Minervini, who had immigrated from Italy. She grew up living with her family in lower Manhattan. She was a graduate of Barbizon School of Modeling.
In 1949, she and her family relocated to San Diego where they started their new life. In 1961, she met David Evans and they were married in 1963. David passed away in 2005.
Marie is survived by her daughter Karen Madelyn Evans Marchand, her two step-children Richard Evans and Tamera Clark, and by her brother Mario Minervini.
Visitation is Monday, October 7, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. with a Service at 6 p.m. at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary (619/ 460-1601). Concluding Services and interment will be in held in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.
