Mark Lee LARSON
March 7, 1957 – May 27, 2018
Mark Lee Larson passed away Sunday May 27, 2018 in San Diego CA after a short battle with cancer. He was born March 7, 1957 and lived his entire life here in San Diego County.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Celina Larson. Mark was also the proud father of two daughters, Lilliana Larson and Nancy Sue (Larson) Harman. His family also included his son-in-law Ben Harman, as well as five wonderful grandchildren, Cailin, Isabel, Anthony, Kilian and Arya. Mark is also survived by his brother Greg Larson from San Diego and his sister Nancy Larson from Orange County.
Mark worked for the City of San Diego for over 25 years in the Parks and Recreation Department. He worked to maintain the city’s beautiful golf courses and took such pride in his work. But Mark's greatest joy was his family; he loved being a husband/father/grandfather. Family events and vacations and even just time at home together were the highlights of his life. Family was everything to him.
There will be a celebration of Mark's life at Conrad's Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove CA, on Sunday June 10, 2018 at 11:00am. There will be a reception at the home of Mark and Celina following the ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to make a donation in Mark's name to the American Cancer Society at the following link: https://www.cancer.org/cancer/melanoma-skin-cancer.html Please share any memories you have of Mark on this website. It would be greatly appreciated by the family.

It was a pleasure to know mr. Mark Larson and to work with him and to enjoy his comradery and a never-ending positive attitude.
No matter what needed to be done, he tackled it with enthusiasm and a can do attitude.
