Socorro C. Nunez

On Thursday, November 14th we lost our most beloved and precious mother, Socorro C. Nunez. She has joined our father, Joe M. Nunez and her brothers and sisters in everlasting peace in Heaven.

We wish to share with everyone that on her last hours she stated to us "Your Dad is coming for me!" He surely did-- this was their 67th Wedding Anniversary...a most special day indeed!

Our Mother was so beautiful inside and out. She touched everyone's heart who knew her throughout her life. She truly will be missed and we, her children, are at peace knowing she is with loved ones and our Heavenly Father.

She is survived by her children, Olga Montano of Spring Valley, Louis and Kathy Nunez of Rancho San Diego, Olivia Nunez of Lemon Grove and Rick Nunez of Missoula, Montana. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove, CA. from 4 p.m-7 p.m with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 24th.

Following on the next day, on Tuesday, November 25th at 10 a.m., the Funeral Mass is at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 8086 Broadway in Lemon Grove 91945.

Immediately following the Mass, the burial is at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA. Please join us for a Reception back at St John of the Cross Hall.
