She was born to November 15, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Hugh Tipton and Katharine Jonas Tipton. Amy was a beloved member of St. James Episcopal Church and will be missed by her church family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother Willard “Willie” Watson and wife Lynne of Whidbey Island, Washington, cousins, Linda and A G Jonas Jr. of Lenoir, two nieces, Jacqueline Watson of Springfield, UT and Katharine Watson Tibbs of Cynthiana, KY.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church in Lenoir on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 12:00. Burial will follow the service at Belleview Cemetery in Lenoir.
