Barbara Ruth Watson Madison

Mrs. Madison was born January 17, 1933 in Caldwell County to the late Jess Watson and Eve Clark Watson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Madison, a son, Tony Madison, two brothers, Pete and Clayton Watson.

Barbara was a devoted wife and mother, and grandmother. She was a hair stylist and owned her own salon for many years and was a member of Hudson First Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Chris Madison and wife Teresa of Hilton Head Island, SC, brother, Jake Watson , six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:00am at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir with Reverend R. Mack Jarvis III officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street Lenoir, NC 28645.
