Ms. Vignola was born in Chicago, Ill., on March 16, 1934 to the late Louis Bernard Forrest and Myrtle Helen McDermott.
She was a member of the Unitarian Universalists of Caldwell County.
Those left to cherish her memory are four sons, James Vignola and wife, Amy, and Paul Vignola, all of Raleigh, NC, Joe Vignola and wife, Terry of Washington, DC, and John Vignola of Chicago, Il; two sisters, Sheila and Louann; four grandchildren, Ben, Patrick, Isabella, and Amelia; and her beloved dog, “Toad”.
A memorial service for Ms. Vignola will be held Monday, August 29, 2011 at Pendry’s Chapel at 5:00 pm with Dr. Maurice Hartley, Moderator, Bev Hartley, Co-Moderator, and Herb Stevens, Founder of the Unitarian Universalists of Caldwell County. The family will receive friends following the service.
