Benjamin Zane Rhyne, age 48, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born May 11, 1975 in Mecklenburg County to Myra Echard Rhyne and the late Randall Scott Rhyne. In addition to his father,, he was preceded in death by a son, Christian Rhyne and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He was a member of the Old Schoolers 828 Car Club and he loved fishing.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Angelica Rhyne of Gastonia, a brother, Adam Rhyne, nephew Ethan Rhyne. Also surviving is his girlfriend, Angela Southard of Statesville along with multiple aunts, uncles cousins and extended family members.
Services are being held privately.
