Beulah Frances Odom Presnell, age 95, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Lenoir Healthcare. Beulah was born January 26, 1930 in Avery County to the late Anderson Odom and Julia Grogan Odom.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilbert Norman Presnell and three siblings, David Odom, Pearlene Perry and Edith Parrish.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Chris Presnell of Lenoir, Kara Presnell of Hickory, grandchildren, Caitlin Reinheardt and husband Dustin of Lenoir, Brennan Presnell of Hickory, Matthew Presnell of Hickory, Jaiden Presnell of Hickory, Gabriel Presnell of Hickory, great grandchildren, Chloe, Rylee and Wyatt Reinheardt all of Lenoir.
Beulah was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished the time she was blessed to spend with her family. Beulah was a graduate of Appalachian State University, with a degree in Elementary Education and taught for many years. After she retired from teaching, she worked for Bernhardt and Broyhill Furniture. Beulah also sold Avon at which she excelled. She was well known in her community for walking around her neighborhood and to businesses to sell her products. She enjoyed flowers, doing word searches, watching westerns on television and playing card games. She attended Lenoir Church of Christ for many years. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life service will be held to honor Beulah on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Tidwell and Rev. Jim Lee officiating.
