Billy Richard Cardwell

Mr. Cardwell was born March 16, 1935 in Caldwell County to the late Jacob Coy Cardwell and Essie Lane Cardwell.

Mr. Cardwell worked in the furniture industry for many years, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and he took great pride in his yard and landscaping and he spent a great deal of time and energy making sure it looked nice.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Those left to cherish he is memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Jane Pearson Cardwell of the home and his son, Jeff and Kim and a granddaughter, Addie all of Lenoir.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir for family and close friends with Rev. Hoss Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial be made to Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street Lenoir, NC 28645 or the Lions Club at Cajahs Mtn Lions Club, 4041 Mt. View Circle, Lenoir, NC 28645.
