

Bonnie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly walking her beloved dog, Dexter. When she was able, Bonnie loved helping others. In the 1980s, Bonnie worked for Bell South in Lenoir. Later on, Bonnie worked at various companies in supervisory roles. Prior to retirement, Bonnie studied management at CCC&TI and managed an Alltel store in Hudson. Bonnie’s generous spirit, infectious laugh, patience, and warm presence touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of compassion and care.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by sisters Debra Vines and Barbara Vines Mathis; brothers in law Nokie Matty and Benny Leonard; sister-in-law Marie Wright; an infant niece, an infant nephew, and her beloved dog Mylo.
Those left to cherish her memory include son William R. Triplett, Jr (Tara), grandson Nolan Triplett; sisters Kathy Burns and Karen Leonard, brothers Kenny Vines (Tina), Joey Vines, and Jerry Wright; brother-in-law Mark Mathis; aunt Helen Vines, uncle Floyd Vines, Sue Gurley, Tommy, and Paula; niece Dawn Burns Owens; nephews Seth Vines and Rex Vines; many nieces and nephews; and friends and neighbors- including one very special friend, Lee Genwright.
Bonnie’s warmth and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
