Charles Fred Davis, 84 of Marion, formerly of Chantilly, VA passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Autumn Care of Marion. Mr. Davis was born on June 3, 1933 in Fannin County, Georgia to the late Frank Homer Davis and Maude Elizabeth Allen Davis. Charles was employed as a Superintendent of Job Site in the Construction Industry for many years. He was a loving and dedicated husband, brother and son. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Le Luong Davis, two brothers, Bobby J Davis, Harold I Davis, two sisters, Frankie M Luther and Mary O Roland. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2018 in the Chapel of Pendrys Lenoir Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Sam Craven officiating. Interment will follow the services at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Jimmy Hughes and wife Vickie of Blue Ridge, Georgia and a sister, Barbara Davis Hogan and husband Bobby of Granite Falls. Also left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces and nephews.
