Mr. Watts was born in Caldwell County on April 8, 1938 to the late Lennie and Bertie Yates Watts.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Eaury Watts, Kenneth Watts, and Eugene Watts.
Mr. Watts is survived by three daughters: Lisa Watts of Hudson, NC, Sandra Colvard and husband Tony of Newland, NC, and Diana Stough and husband Chris of Black Mountain, NC; three grandchildren, Danielle Walker, Joshua Walker, and Cody Stough; and two brothers, James Watts and wife Martha, and Lester Watts and wife Debbie.
