We were so sorry to hear about Clarence. We didn't find out until yesterday afternoon when we went to Brockford to visit my Uncle Bill (Bill Shore - Clarence's roommate). Clarence was a good friend and buddy to Uncle Bill - they kept each other company and helped each other alot. I know Uncle Bill already misses Clarence terribly. He doesn't understand where Clarence has gone or what has happened and walks the halls and looks out the doors looking for Clarence. I can't tell you how grateful we are for all that you all have done for Uncle Bill - I know how much he enjoyed your visits (and gravy biscuits!). Clarence was definitely a character and we always enjoyed "picking" with him and listening to his stories about being stationed in Japan. We will miss seeing him when we go to visit Uncle Bill.
Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with your family - and we thank y'all again for how nice you've been to Uncle Bill
