In addition to her parents, Cleo was preceded in death by her three brothers Jack, Rayvon, and Charlie; and her four sisters Judy, Louise, Linda, and Sarah.
Left to cherish Cleo's memory are her faithful husband Boyd Greene, her daughter Robin Caroline Yount (husband Adam), her son Ryan Chase Watts, two grandsons Samuel and Shepherd Yount, her brothers Allie Jackson and Clayton Jackson, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Cleo cared deeply about her family. She worked hard to provide for her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews through the years. She was very skilled in sewing and worked in local furniture factories for over 50 years. Her favorite hobbies were attending her grandsons' ball games and working with her flowers. Cleo enjoyed helping her husband on the farm and attending church. She liked to sing at church and faithfully studied her Bible.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 6465 Richland Road, Lenoir, NC 28645. Serving as pallbearers will be Samuel Yount, Shepherd Yount, Jacky Murray, Robert Talton, Ryan Greene, and Grady Greene.
