Cynthia Bryant Biddix of Granite Falls, North Carolina, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on April 16, 1951, in Caldwell County, North Carolina, to the late Andy Warner Bryant, Sr. and Bettie Proffitt Bryant.
Mrs. Biddix was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired as Vice President of Service for the Western Region of Wachovia Bank after 37½ years of dedicated service.
She was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church of Lenoir for 44 years, where she served in many teaching roles and on numerous committees. Deeply rooted in her faith, she was known as a devoted “prayer warrior.” She had a servant’s heart, always ready to lend a helping hand, and truly never met a stranger.
During retirement, she enjoyed traveling to baseball games to watch her grandsons play and cheering on her beloved New York Yankees. She also had a deep love for nature and found great joy in tending her flower gardens and caring for bluebirds and hummingbirds. An avid photographer, she was rarely without a camera in her hand.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Graham “Junior” Biddix, Jr.; her son, Chad Biddix and wife April of Hudson; her daughter, Andrea Biddix Roper and husband Reid of Hudson; grandchildren, Mason Biddix and wife Natalie of Hickory, Landon Biddix and wife Alex of Lenoir, Gavin Goudelock and wife Sierra of Hickory, and Braeden Goudelock of Hudson; and great-grandchild Kenlynn of Hickory. She is also survived by two brothers, Andy Bryant, Jr. and wife Karen of Connelly Springs, and Michael Bryant of Lenoir.
In addition to her family, Mrs. Biddix shared Christlike love as a mother figure to many throughout her life, touching countless hearts with her kindness and guidance, including but not limited to Kevin Styles, Willie Rominger, Wayne Rash, Bryant Rash, and Arlen Rash.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church. The Reverend Sam Craven will officiate.
Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home is honored to serve the Biddix family.
