Delores Diana Speagle Laws, 51, of Lenoir went home to be with her Lord Friday, November 9, 2012 at Grace Hospital.

Mrs. Laws was born in Burke County to Dorothy Benge Speagle of Morganton and the late Lonnie Paul Speagle, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, David Laws of the home; a son, Jeremy Berry and his wife Heather of Morganton; her daughter, Sunshine Berry of Morganton; her brothers, Paul Speagle of Gibsonville, NC and Billy Speagle of Morganton; her sisters, Sara Norris and Tammy Norris both of Morganton. She also leaves behind five grandchildren to cherish her memory, Hunter and Hannah Berry, Gabriel, Tristan and Ethan Esquivel.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Walking By Faith Baptist Church with Reverend Marvin Ford and Reverend Paul Speagle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and also open hours at the home of her sister, Sara Norris in Glen Alpine.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family.
