To My Siblings (Melinda, Beverly, Jeff,) and to (Niece Ledane and great Nephew Chad)
We had Mom with us for a long time, and I never dreamed she would leave us this early. But now she is out of pain and no longer suffering. She looked good and always kept her sense of humor, even through Saturday, May 5th when she started preparing to leave us and join Dad, Lee, Scooter and Champ! I know they were rejoicing when she met them. Her life was full and she was loved, even through all the times she was mad at us. And there were plenty. There were times when Jeff and I thought we were going to pull our hair out, but we managed to not go bald...and we did our best to take care of her and her needs; we all did at some point in time and in our own ways. The BEST FEELING is knowing she is PAIN FREE and WITH DAD and LEE. Melinda and I said on Tuesday its going to be hard to NOT be arranging our Saturdays to go see her. Moving her close to us was the best thing we could have done for her. Having her close allowed us to take weekends doing fun things, visiting with each other and gathering at each others homes. We all had our special times with her and she was blessed! It will be hard at the next outing, birthdays, holidays, but now we have each other...we're it! So let's all remember to love one another, like we were loved when they brought us into this world. I loved hearing the stories, memories, and remembering how much fun we all had as a family growing up, and how we committed to continuing this effort. I will miss her dearly, and there are so many memories ... and her belongings in my house!! That will be my next project, sharing it with Mom's siblings, children and grandchildren. :-) You know where I live...saying this with laughter :-) Love you all, Jean
