Donna Jean Lovins

She was born on December 14, 1952, in Sullivan County, TN to the late Donald Eugene Goins and Louella Singleton Goins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Goins.

Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished every minute with her family. She opened her home to numerous children to whom she was known as Nana Donna. She was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church, sang in the church choir and was active in many church activities. Above all else, she loved the Lord with all her heart.

Those left to Cherish her memory include her loving husband of 52 years, Donald Kent Lovins of the home, her children, Donny Lovins and wife Megan of Hudson, Dawn Houck and husband Cory of Collettsville, her precious grandchildren, Grayson and Corbin Lovins of Hudson, Mallory Houck of Collettsville, her two sisters, Martha Martin and husband Rick of Hudson and Debbie Goins of Hickory.

Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A Celebration of Life to honor Donna will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 3:30 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev, Sam Craven, Rev. Jeff Lambert and Rev. Zack Bryant officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church.
