Dorothy Marler Brown

Mrs. Brown was born on August 24, 1931 in Caldwell County to the late Arthur Carl and Annie Belle Gilliam Marler. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Brown; one son, Ricky Brown; and one brother, Billy James Marler.

She was a homemaker and member of Mulvelle Baptist Church for fifty years.

Survivors include, three brothers, Jimmy Marler of Lenoir, NC, Jack David Marler of Charlotte, NC, and Joe Marler of Granite Falls, NC; one sister, Faye Allen of Lenoir, NC.

A funeral service for Mrs. Brown will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Brian Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC.
