Earl Edward Mikeal

Mr. Mikeal was born in Caldwell County to the late Morris Boone Mikeal and Louise Fox Mikeal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Clark Mikeal; a brother, Clyde Mikeal; sisters, Juanita Suddreth and Gladys Caldwell. He was retired from Bernhardt Furniture and attended New Beginnings Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Meleah “Sis” Mikeal of Lenoir; his son, “Duck” Mikeal and wife Susan of Lenoir; sisters, Edith Crouch of Hudson and Grace Russell of Boomer; four grandchildren, Jason Mikeal, Courtney Carlton, Daniel Goulds and Leah Goulds and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 17, 2013 at New Beginnings Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend Daniel Buchanan and Reverend David Noyce officiating. Burial will follow at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Mikeal, Lynn Beane, Jason Mikeal, Daniel Goulds, Eric Kincaid and Brent Hartley. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Kincaid and Denny Mackie.
