Elizabeth Jane Carson Sherrill, 92, of Lenoir, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Gateway Nursing Center.
Mrs. Sherrill was born in Poke County to the late Hebron Henry Carson and Johnnie Jackson Carson on May 32, 1923.
She was a loving and dedicated wife. She enjoyed painting and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lenoir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Sherrill and three brothers; Charles, Jackson and Buck Carson.
A funeral service to honor Mrs. Sherrill will be held in Pendry’s Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 3:00 pm with Reverend R. J. Lovins officiating. Burial at Belleview Cemetery in Lenoir will be private.
The family of Mrs. Sherrill would like to express their sincere gratitude the staff of Gateway Nursing Center for the many years of dedicated and loving care that Mrs. Sherrill received there.
