Rev. Fillers was born June 4, 1945 in Caldwell County to the late John Franklin and Geneva Jones Fillers.
Rev. Fillers was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. He also was an Evangelist and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ at every opportunity.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Whisnant Fillers and their children.
Services for Rev. Fillers will be held privately and burial will take place at Hartley Hill Cemetery in Lenoir.
