Evelyn Brown Robinson

Born May 28, 1934 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Brown and Effie Webb Brown.

Mrs. Robinson stood faithful in her relationship with her Savior and was a faithful member of Word in Truth Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 53 years, William Albert Robinson who passed away May 2006; brothers, Rev. Ernest E. Brown and Herman Brown, and sisters, Edith Bentley, June Day and Rosalee Whisnant.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Arnold Robinson (Lisa) of Hudson, Larry Eugene Robinson and O’Ryan Robinson, both of Lenoir; two daughters, Pamela Robinson Mitchell (Michael), of Lenoir and Sheila Robinson Anderson (David) of Maiden; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services honoring Evelyn’s life will be held at Word in Truth Ministry on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Bill E. Bentley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM -2:00PM

Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Robinson’s grandsons.
