Georgia Marie Winebarger

She was born to the late Charlie G. Church and Nannie Price Church August 06, 1936 in Caldwell Co.

Georgia worked in furniture for many years. She enjoyed yard sales, and going to the flea market.

Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by her family.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Walter Wright Winebarger, daughter, Angela Nanette Winebarger, great granddaughter, Sabrina Renea White, and brother, Howard Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her children; Walter Scott Winebarger (Amy), Nona Nelson (Mike), and Lora Ellen Winebarger, grandchildren; Joseph Mikel Nelson, Bradley Ryan Nelson, Stephanie Nicole Scott, Amanda Lynn Winebarger, Katie Marie Winebarger, Mindy Renea Laney White, and Brandon Dale Laney, great grandchildren; Noah Nelson, Hannah Nelson, Liam Blaine Nelson, Alex White, and Zay Rich, also surviving include her siblings; Charles Church (DeeDee), Judy Hibbs, and Josephine Bennett along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Georgia Marie Winebarger will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Alan Carr, Officiating
