Helen Johnson Bryant

Mrs. Bryant was born in Wilkes County to the late Clinard E. Johnson and Thelma Jones Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Johnson and a sister, Edith Marie Johnson. She was retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of Walking By Faith Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Joe Bryant of the home, her sons, Travis Joe Bryant of Lenoir, Robert Stephen Bryant and wife Tammy of Lenoir, and David Randal Bryant and wife Cathy of Lenoir; special son, Deputy Johnny Runion of Lenoir; a brother, Reverend Walter Gwyn Johnson of Greensboro; her sisters, Dorotha Johnson of Ferguson and Beryl Taylor of Lenoir. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Marvin Ford officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
