Mrs. Greene was born in Ashe County, February 10, 1924, to the late Rufus G. and Amanda Eller Greer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Greene.
Survivors include two sons, William Greene of Texas and James Greene of Michigan.
A funeral service for Mrs. Greene will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Alan Carr officiating. Burial will follow the service at Belleview Cemetery in Lenoir, NC.
