J E Watson

J.E. Levi Watson, 63, of Lenoir, passed away March 22, 2016 in Hickory at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born to the late Levi Watson and Pansy Myrtle Nelson on March 21, 1953 in Lenoir. J.E. was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He dedicated 36 years of hard work to Bernhardt Furniture. J.E. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Along with his parents, J.E. is preceded in death by a brother Clyde Watson and two sisters Shirley Trivette, and Brenda Watson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife of 41 years, Mary Watson, Daughter; Amy Marley (husband Tim) of Lenoir, Brothers; Kenneth Watson of Wilkesboro and Joey Watson ( wife Paula) of Lenoir, Sisters; Sadie Denny (husband Bill) of Warrensville, Evelyn Pearson (special friend Roger Smith ) of Wilkesboro, Glenna Triplett (husband Dale) of Boomer, Sister-in-law; Sherlene Watson of Triplette, Brother-in-law; Larry Osborne ( wife Pat) of Lenoir, Grandson; Dustin Marley ( wife Lauren) ,Granddaughter; Sarah Marley, Aunt; Bernice Watson, Uncle; Romey Nelson, 9 Nieces and 17 Nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers for J.E.’s service will be Randy Watson, Anthony Watson, Brad Hoover, Alan Hoover, Brandon Oxford, Chad Oxford, Cameron Messer, Ranger Smith.

The services for J.E. will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30-4 p.m. at Pendry’s Funeral Home. Rev. Raymond Spann will be officiating the services. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
