James Edward Ensley

Mr. Ensley was born June 1, 1941 to the late Frank Allen and Isadore Holden Ensley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Andrews.

He was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time at Yadkin Valley Grocery, where he could visit with his many friends and family members.

Survivors include five brothers, Fred, Robert, Ronald, William, and Glen Ensley; three sisters, Katherine Moody, Hester Ann McLean, and Betty Ann Silver; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held for Mr. Ensley, Sunday, January 15, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mikeal Minton and Reverend Bobby Pritchard officiating. Burial will be private and held at a later date at Tanglewood Cemetery in Linville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm prior to the service at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
