

James was born on September 7, 1980 in Raleigh County, WV to Debbie Runyon Boughman and the late James Stacy. He was a self-employed roofer, and enjoyed being outdoors. Fishing and camping were his favorite hobbies.
In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Hildebran and a daughter, Taylor Coffey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Linda Stacy of the home, a son, Dawson Coffey, of the home, daughters, Jessica Locklear and Tiffany Locklear, both of the home, sisters, Tonya Blankenship and April Stacy, both of Beckley, WV, a step-father, David Boughman, mother-in-law, Mary Miller, grandchildren, Dakata Payne, Turner Payne, Bradley Holtsclaw, Shaylee Locklear and Jaylee Wilson, sisters-in-law, Katie Poarch of Morganton and Mary Church of Lenoir.
Also left to cherish his memory are a host of extended family members and friends.
A funeral service to honor the memory of Mr. Stacy will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Reverend James Wilfong and Evangelist Jacob Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Watson Family Cemetery in Lenoir.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Shatley, Kilmer Miller, David Boughman, Christopher Rice, Danny Blankenship and Houston Minton. Honorary pallbearers will be James David Boughman and Bradley Holtsclaw.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
