Janet Elizabeth Holman

Janet was a member of Word in Truth Ministries. She enjoyed taking care of people, trying all types of foods, baking, and playing video games. She loved spending time with her family, especially her son, Jordan. Janet will be remembered for her calming presence and the care she showed to everyone.

Janet was a loving mother, wife, and friend. Janet will be greatly missed.

Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry Marvin Holman; her parents Doyle Philyaw and Sondra Goble; and her brother Timothy Allen Philyaw.

Those left behind to cherish Janet's memory are her sons, Jordan Holman of Granite Falls and Chris Goble of Granite Falls; her sister Lisa Anderson of Granite Falls (and spouse Dale); and many beloved extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Chris Goble, Matthew Effler, Andrew Effler, Jose Membreno, Rudy Membreno, and Jordan Holman.
