John Matthew Craig, 46, of Lenoir, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson.

He was born February 24, 1972 in Burke County to the late Fred Craig and Dolly Jean Tolbert Craig.

He is proceeded in death by his parents

John loved spending time with his family and served in the Navy.

He is survived by wife of 20 years, Barbara Craig, of the home; step daughter, Katherine Oakley and husband Charles, Step-Son; Jason Patrick and wife Brooke, Sisters; Donna Baldwin, Nina Patterson and Carol Craig, Brothers; Russell Craig, David Craig and wife Kimberly, Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law; Tommy and Roaslie Suddreth, Grandchildren; Patience and Bronte, Great grandchildren; Isaac, Xavier, Lennox and Astraea along with numerous nieces.

A Memorial Service will be Private.
