So sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. He was a dear classmate of mine at LHS.  My condolences and prayers go out to all who loved and are grieving for him. It's very comforting to know that absent from the body puts you into the arms of a very loving God. May that peace that he now has sustain you during this very difficult time.

From being a younger teammate on the Kiwanis Little League team where I idolized his abilities to watching him play nose guard for our beloved Lenoir High Bearcats as a young teenager. Sorry I wasn't able to attend the receiving. I knew Johnny since he was a little boy coming to the fire Dept. back in the 60s. I'm sorry for your loss and I still think of his father often. He was a good friend.

I am numb after hearing of my classmates passing. Johnny was more than my classmate he was a TRUE FRIEND. Our days of playing football and wrestling together are cherished moments. RIP...Bearcat class of 1977.

Sorry to hear of Johnny passing. Although we were not close these last years still consider him a close friend. I was fortunate enough to play 1st base for Lenoir High School with Johnny at 2nd. Because of him nothing went though the right side of the infield on the ground. My condolences to the entire family.

So shocked and sad today .  Lots of tears for my little Johnny Story.  We go back way back my first boyfriend.  Such sweet memories.  I am so glad we got to catch up at one of the LHS reunions. Even more thankful Jordan and I stopped at his house after church on Sunday afternoon.  Was great to visit with his Mom and Teresa and kids.  Always will remember and cherish the friendship we had even distant as we were.  But good relationships always seem to be as if it were yesterday.  My prayers and love to all the family
