John David " J.D." Teeters

Mr. Teeters was born on December 7, 1923 in Caldwell County to the late George W. and Margaret W. Teeters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Luther, Jack, and Ray Teeters; two sisters, Polly Greene and Mattie Hordi.

“JD” was a member of Colliers United Methodist Church and the Whitnel Rotary Club and Colliers United Methodist Men.

Survivors include, his wife, Beulah “Tootie” Arney Teeters of the home, one son, John D. “Joey” Teeters, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Linda Huntley Teeters.

A funeral service will be held for Mr. Teeters, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Colliers United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bill Taylor and Reverend George Williams officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
