Joyce Dean Hagler Cook, 79, of Hudson, went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. She was born March 19, 1939 in Mecklenburg County to the late George Hagler and Thelma Rainwater Hagler. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband Rudie Cook and great grandchild Madison Bodford. Joyce loved spending time with her sons and family. She worked 32 years as a quality control specialist at Lenoir Mirror. Those left to cherish her memory are sons; Roger A. Cook, Randall A. Cook, Rodney A. Cook and wife Marsha, Robin A. Cook and Reginald A. Cook, sisters; Jerrie Tarlton, Ruth Patterson and husband Larry, and Helen Phifer and husband Danny, grandchildren; Tiffany Gleiter and husband Tommy, Casey Bowman and Husband Michael, Ryan Cook, Kelley Cook, Riley Cook, Hailey Bowman and Rob Cook, Great grandchildren; Ryder Bowman, Chase Bowman, Holden Bowman, Tillie Gleiter, Seth Bodford and Audrina Bodford along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mrs. Cook’s home at 586 Evergreen St., Hudson, NC 28638 at 12:00 pm Saturday, April 21, 2018.
