She was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Harrell.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her daughter Milissa Vess McNeil (husband Robert) of Morganton; her brother Jerry Harrell of Lenoir; her 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Joseph, Tina, Victoria, and Caleb; and her 10 great-grandchildren.
Judy served her country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Later she worked as a truck driver. She was a devout Christian and she loved the Lord. She loved to sew. Judy was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026
at Abundant Life Tabernacle Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Susan McNeil.
