June Edward Harshaw

Mr. Harshaw was born in Caldwell County to the late Arthur Junior Harshaw and Amy Louise Corpening Harshaw. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister; Lillie Anerio Harshaw.

Mr. Harshaw was in restaurant management.

Survivors include his brother; Dwayne Harshaw and spouse Celestine of Lenoir, two sisters; Melanie Harshaw, Robin Harshaw both of Lenoir, two special nieces; Shereece Jackson and Sheneece Jackson both of Lenoir.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January, 4, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Hoods Chapel United Church of God with Bishop Philmore Hester, Bishop R.C. Bryant, Reverend Billy Joe Lipford, and Evangelist Hazel Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The Harshaw family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00pm prior to the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos Hood, Fred Corpening, Sonny Hood, Thomas Burgess, Douglas Burgess, Houston Williams, Marvin Corpening, Jonathan Horton and Tony Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Witherspoon, Timmy Witherspoon and Scotty Armstrong

The family requests that memorials be made to The American Diabetes Association.
