Kathleen Ellen Chmura, age 70, of Morganton, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Kathy was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Kathryn Chmura. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael F. Chmura.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Chamberlain of Morganton, her son-in-law William Sullivan, her granddaughters Storm Jump and Lila Chamberlain, and her sister Diane Johnson.
Kathy, "Special K", was actively involved in the Blind Association and National Public Library's audiobook clubs. She loved to knit, to bowl, and to listen to music. She was a huge Arizona Cardinal football fan. She loved life and to experience new things.
