Kathleen Richards Melton

Born December 29, 1934 in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late George Richards and Callie Setzer Richards. After she met and married Benson S. Melton, they moved to Florida where she worked and retired as an Insurance Coordinator with an underground cable company.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Charles, Eugene and Dorse Richards, and one sister Ruth Prestwood.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Benson S. Melton, of the home; one brother, Carroll Richards of Rhode Island and one sister, Christine Cline of Baltimore, Maryland.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Clifton Black officiating.
