In addition to her parents, Ms. Allen is proceeded in death by her brothers, William, Jack, Joseph, and Jimmie Marler and one sister Dorothy Brown.
She is survived by her daughters Debbie Porter (Jerry Smith) and Teresa Lambert (Shane) of Lenoir, two grandchildren Amber Shoemake and Thomas Porter. Ms. Allen leaves behind three great grandchildren Brayden Porter, and Molly and James Holman.
Lela was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and will be remembered for enjoying spending time with her siblings and grandchildren.
The Memorial Service for Lela will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
Inurnment will be with the family.
